9/27/10

We had a great time in Niagara Falls, We made reservations for the Hotel and a guided tour at a visitors center and it worked out great. The tour was scheduled to be 5 hours but ended up to be over 8 hours. We did both the Canadian side and the US side. Joel and Tracy watched the dog. Sunday after retutning home we both crahed. Today was a quite day I was enrolled in Hopice and tonight godly friends came over after we received food from another godly friend at Lunch time. Konrad and family is planning to come this weekend. God id all around. I received a really nice devotopnal book from an union collegue and read it all today it was great. Thanks again and again. JUrgen

  1. Glad you had such a nice time at Niagara Falls. It does sound like it was a full day. Hope you had time to unwind and relax as well. Keep looking up!

A "blast from the past" :-) ... I hope you remember me from my days w/you @ WHFC back in the early / mid '80's ... yikes! Chuck and Lorrie told me about the path you're on. I saw them and Kathy this past Sunday afternoon. Missed you. Was hoping to see you. I understand it was a rough day. And that you've had more than a few of them.

I am praying for you with hope and love in Christ. Kathy and I sat across the table from one another for probably 20 minutes or so. I'm glad for that. She loves you and is looking to God with and for you. You're a blessed man to have and hold her :-) ...

I'm hoping to somehow see you before too much longer. There's been a lot of water under the bridge in my life brother ... much good, some bad, all with His permission trumped by His power. Why He allows what He allows is still my biggest struggle in this life. But I rest knowing this life isn't all there is. Nor does it have the final word.

If you'd be up for a phone call I'd love it. If not, that's totally fine. I have been and will be praying for you and Kathy as you journey together. May God's grace prevail. Life, not death has won and will win. I shared a thought that's REALL helped me through was sometimes feels like a minefield called life. "We're not bodies with spirits, we're spirits with bodies." And "we're not human beings having a spiritual experience, we're spiritual begins having a human experience ... and sometimes it stinks!" Through it all my The Faithful One be your best friend.

    Much Love -

    Dan

  3. It's late in November 2010 now and my friend has long since gone to be with Jesus.
I miss you my friend, very much.
